Inspired by Kathe Kollwitz, Year 9 students explored monoprinting within their Human Rights project. Students experimented with ink, chalk and charcoal to develop their work.

  1. the monoprints show the expression of the person in the image. it helps create the mood and atmosphere. the ink, charcoal and chalk help to make the work more realistic amd 3D.

  2. These monoprints are unique and the chalk helps to give it a deeper view. The was they were drawn and shading made every detail good and you can see the diffrent textures and positioning in the paintings.
