Year 9 Pop Art Self Portraits
Year 9 students have been exploring the work of the Pop Artists to inspire their self-portraits. Students used a photograph of themselves to complete a linear drawing before creating a background based on their contextual studies.

This are amazing! The assignment totally inspired me to try this with my 6th grade portrait unit.
ReplyDeleteI love the colourful way they've been created in the same style and proportions. I wish the Art curriculum could've been as varied and imaginative when I was at school in 1936.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! It would be great if we can have some e-mail contact! I could not find your e-mail on your blog. You can find mine here: http://extraliv.weebly.com/om-mig.html
